As you can read in my blog, the business case for my Orca was won when I told my wife I would design replacable high heel ends.
So I did

Take of the worn heel-surface with some pliers
Measure if the replacement part would fit your shoe :-)
(If not, the source is there to change)
Print the high heel stop in a shoe-matching color, put a parker through it from the wide side, sink it untill it stops, put some glu on the other side and screw it in the high heel.
Replace them when the wear reaches the screw head.

this will be a 'must see' :-)

Please post a picture with you on the stiletto's :-)

Tip: You can play with size and shape in the source. So it is not only for stiletto's :-)

Of course honey. Hope you like it. xxx

That is só unfair: not my heel design !

If you make an insert to go over the screw it will last longer.

That is a good idea.

I have made inserts for my car bodywork replacement spacer-washers so I see your point, just did not think of it before for the heel.

i am in the progress of making new heels for mylady's knee boots, so i will consider this.

Thanks Thomas

Brilliant idea, but does it really work?

Take one step down on a stair and you can have more than just your weight on your heel...
gt;50kg of pressure [1] on a 1cm^2 surface: Is it strong enough? Will it break after a few steps?

The spouse has weared this first pair for one hour in the living room, to test.

We have tiles on the floor.

I see no damage after that limitted test period. Now we wait for the first outdoor experience :-)

I made these the business case, but without guarantees. The only guarantee was that it allowed me to buy the Orca :-D

A brilliant use of the "show the spouse a benefit they care about" to get a new toy. My hat is off to you, Sir. Well done.

Thanks for the hat-off,

I am still wandering what other benefits I must represent, for my spouse still to stay with me after 35 yeard :-)
