This is a really small 3 axis cnc that I modeled in google sketchup. It as a travel of approx. 2x3x3. I have not tested it, so I do not know if it will print properly.

All you need to do is print the files: Makerbot CNC Main Box, Makerbot CNC X Stage, Makerbot CNC yz stage and Makerbot CNC z axis. The only other things needed are 1/8 solid rod and 1/8 threaded rod.

You read my mind! Cool model, looks like it could be fun!

How big is it? What's a travel of 2/3/3.. centimeters? Inches (eugh)?

Are those holes printed facing up? If not, you might need to replace them with teardrops a/la the reprap logo, so they print well. They'd still hold rod securely.

All measurements are in inches. The hole are supposed to be facing up, but I will work on changing them to tear drops. The issue I am having is that I do not own a 3d printer and therefore cannot test it.

Thanks for the feedback
