This is a case for the Iphone 7 plus. This case is split into two halves that allows it to be printed on smaller printers and using non-flexible filament like PLA. The original design was made by zlagger.

If you make your shell thickness very thin, then you can choose your case design by choosing the infill pattern.

Update #1: I have fixed the camera on the top portion to allow it to slide in without smashing the camera module on iPhone.

Update #2: I have modified the case into version 2 of the case that makes the bottom large, and the top just an add on piece to lock in the device.
This version may have to be slightly trimmed on the snap in pieces because of printer inconsistency.

Update #3: I have gone back to the center connecting piece type design because of how ugly version 2 was. The top piece connector now fits inside of the case to make it lock into place better.

Version 3:
Fan settings need to have the cooling fan at 100% speed in order to be able to bridge the overhang on the connector piece.

The more infill you add, the stronger the case is.

Without a raft, the case often tends to warp, but depends on your printer and your settings.

Assembly Instructions

Version 2:

  1. Make sure the case fits together, if not trim with some kind of knife or scissors.
  2. Slide the phone into the bottom portion of the case.
  3. Line up the top portion of the case.
  4. Slide the top portion of the case onto the phone while holding the T shape slightly out.
  5. Pop both the T and the little piece by camera in from the back of the case.

When i put ours together there is a gap between the two pieces even though the buttons and holes align up perfectly, so I'm thinking it's an error int eh design, i posted a picture of the put together on our iPhone 7 plus

Works all that's matters

Tried to print v3 andhad a little trouble. Without scaling yet, the groove for the camera was a tiny bit too thin so it was extremely hard to get it on and back off. It mainly didnt fit on the left side of the camera. Otherwise great model and i will try scaling a tiny bit bigger.

Would it be possible to get a version for the normal 7?

I wish I could, but sadly I don't have an iPhone 7 to actually test on. You could try shrinking the design slightly, but Idk if that would work.

nice, printed it and sanded it a little and fits perfectly, great job ^^

Thank you, just out of curiosity, which version did you print?

i printed the Iphone Case V2.

I would suggest making a path/groove for the camera lens to slide up into place. Otherwise you are basically smashing and dragging the lens until it snaps into the slot.

Thank you for the great idea! I uploaded a new version of it that may work. Haven't tested it yet, but as it looks so far, i think it should work.

The slot you made in the inside of the case for the camera doesn't line up correctly, at least on my phone. As mentioned above, it looks like it is a little too far left (when looking into the case). I might try to dremmel it out a bit. Also, seems like the mute switch snags a little taking it on and off. Perhaps a slight "ramp" or slope would help for getting it off.
