Sometimes you have to take the case off to print something tall. NOT ANYMORE!
I found that I can print a height of 220mm (I have a E3Dv6 so I lost a tad) before the risk of the Z nuts un-thread from the Z axis threaded rods. Using these lifters, you can get that full height without pulling that case off and still having room for the wiring.
WARNING: BEFORE you print something this tall, TEST YOUR MAX height so that you know what is the maximum height you feel safe before your printer unscrews it's Z access!
If the firmware (Configuration.h):
look for _define Z_MAX_POS 201
^--This is a pound sign (but Thingiverse uses this as a formatting char)
change the 201 (or whatever number is here) to the highest Z you want to allow.
example I set mine to _define Z_MAX_POS 221
then flash your printer with the new value.
