Summary

Another WGSS class modelling assignment! Steampunk your Nerf gun!

Students learned to take measurements and design parts that would simply glue onto a standard Nerf blaster.

These are 7 parts that you can pick and choose and glue onto a Nerf Maverick (sold seperately)

Instructions

Buy a Nerf Maverick ($9.99 from Walmart)

Spray paint it flat black ($1.00 from Walmart)

Buy some Rub-n-Buff from Michaels ($3.00) Refer to youtube for videos on how to use paint and rub-n-buff to make a steampunk Nerf Blaster.

The hosing was a flexible sprinkler hose that we bought from Home Depot.

Print our parts, rub-n-buff them, glue to Nerf Blaster, amaze friends.

I'm confused, what's the holder.stl file? Doesn't match with anything on the picture as far as I can tell. And do I need an actual CO2 cartridge?

I like it. Any chance you could add a cylinder that makes each barrel separate from the others? I mean like in this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBLcot4foA4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

That's actually how the barrels are already for the revolver. The revolving chamber is comprised of three pieces: The back plate, the external sleeve and the internal barrels which are all attached to the front plate. The person who made the one in your video simply removed the external sleeve and connected the front plate to the back plate.

It's similar, but having taken one apart to do exactly that, the external sleeve is a little longer than the space between the two other parts, so taking it out makes the whole cylinder shorter and not fir without something to space it out.
