After upgrading my UM2-switch to a dual color printer, it was time to print something.
So I decided to print the name of my new born son.
Almost completed ABC
Since I could not find duplo characters like this, the goals is to create a complete duplo compatible dual color ABC.. (Ready: 20 out of 26.) But I'm in no rush at all. ;)
If you need a missing character, reply below.
When I have some spare time left, I'm willing to generate that one missing character first..
3MF file format
For multi material prints, it should be nice, starting to use better file formats. So all available characters are saved like 3fm file, which contain both inside and outsides.
Unfortunately thingiverse is currently not recognizing these files as 3d objects. That's why you only see the character 'A' in stl format.
Use for instance cura for opening and printing the files (or save as stl files). Or check this list of 3MF compatible software.
Have fun printing. :)
