Having to poke your finger into the Printrbot Simple to hit the reset button got to be annoying so I created a mechanism to reset the machine from the outside. (Be kind its my first design)
You may need to use a nail file to clean up sags on the inside of the pivot. I used a small roll pin to join the two parts together. Line up the arm in the pivot and drill a small hole thru both parts, make sure the hole is smaller then the diameter of the roll pin, then take the two pieces apart and drill the arm larger then the pin. Reassemble the pieces and drive the roll pin thru both holes and cut it flush. You can possibly use a small cotter pin, a small nail or a piece of paper clip for joining instead of the roll pin but you have to bend or glue them to ensure that the metal part is securely fastened. You don't want anything metal to fall out and contact the circuit board.
