This is new product designed by RepRap Chanpion to upgrade existing Y carriage plates on pupular Anet A6 and A8 3D Printers. Plate is made of tempered aluminum alloy, brushed and anodized for perfect flatness and pleasing surface finish. This product will fix leveing issues that you might have on your Anet A6/ A8 3D Printers due to twist on original Y carriage plate.

To make this plate you will need to machine 1/8" thick sheet of 6061-T6 aluminum or 3mm thick aluminum, for metric stock. If you will machine this plate on CNC rounter - use 1/8" or 3mm router bit as a cutting tool, for maximum efficiency.

I love you guys for posting the dxf. Thank you so much. Are the holes in the middle supposed to be machined?

Had this costum cut via the DXF file and the scales are wrong.
The piece is 440x440mm, the size is doubled in the cad file.

Thanks for feedback, we updated DXF file, it is 1:1 scale now.

Just wasted 45€ on two carriages that dont fit :(

Would you mind remixing this to fit the Anet AM8 frame mod?
It hits the back motor, you have to cutaway a section like this: http://i.imgur.com/wScUSS8.png

? miine fits perfectly on my AM8. This said my Y extrusions are 364mm long, try with a rear mount of the motor.

Second revision plate, which we sell for at least 4 months now, will fit perfectly on AM8. Check out this detailed guide for details of AM8 upgrade:

Where is the second revision DXF file?

Download files from this thing and get last revision DXF,

Before we publish our version, please use this holder or similar

FYI: I ordered and received my new carriage a few days ago and I had printed the belt holder while waiting. Turns out the carriage I received had the belt holder holes drilled to match the Anet A8 stock belt holder layout. This belt holder here is a lot longer and the holes were not even close to lining up. I just put the stock blocks on for now while I find another belt holder that supports the stock configuration. Great carriage though - flat and a lot stronger than the stock H-carriage. :D

Edit: I just downloaded the package again so I could look at all the options. I am going to take ALL the options for A8 into a slicer and see if there is one that might fit. I printed the A8 M3 because, well, it was an A8 with M3 screws holding the belt blocks. I could potentially be retarded :D

Edit 2: Okay, not retarded. They are not the right size. :D

Thanks friend, Yes, we recently updated carriage design to fully match hole pattern on original carriage and increase cutout to also fully match original carriage cutout (to make it work on aluminum extrusion version of A8), but we have not updated thing yet, to include matching belt holders. Will do this ASAP.

I see the belt holder STL has been completely removed from the download. LOL! Can we get the correct one you mentioned uploaded? I am using the stock one but it is pulling down on the bed because the angle is all wrong. I loved the design of the new one you guys had, it just needs to work with the stock hole placement. :D

YEs, before we publish our updated holder, please use this one or something similar:
