Hi RBT!

I love your mini iambic paddles - very clever! Is there any way I can purchase a paddle from you?

KC3ANQ

Thanks KC3ANQ. I don't provide a printing service myself, but there are a few printing services you can use through Thingiverse by clicking the "Order This Printed" button above, or you can download the files and use a printing service of your choice. If you have a makerspace or library in your area, they may also provide a printing service.

nice job!

I originally had a set made like that (smaller is better I thought) but I found I had to hold it down with one hand while operating with the other. Ended up making mine flat and wide so I can strap to leg or table without having to hold it down.

always happy to see someone remix my things. 73's from newfoundland canada

Thanks. My dad had a straight key that was a real simple design, one point of rotation, two screws, one spring, and an adjustable contact. I loved the simplicity and functionality of it. I've been learning morse and needed something for practice, without shelling out too much money. I wanted iambic paddles with similar simplicity and function as my dads straight key. Your design really got the gears in my head cranking. Some screws, a spring, adjustable contacts; that's all it needs.

great design, I had a go with paddles a few years ago but couldn't get to grips with them, I just stuck to a normal key, I give up the morse about 15yrs ago (M3LNE)
