Thank you this helped immensely. I created an account on thingiverse just to leave this comment.

Possible enhancement - couple of holes for heat set inserts on the back to mount possible cable guild / support (or what ever) there. Again though, really nice work as is.

Any chance you could post or send the design file?
I am using with a volcano hot end and need to adjust BL touch and fan depth a little lower.

Thanks! Worked out great.

Hi, would you share the step file? I wish to make a slightly modification on the carriage. Thanks!

What is the rod spacing on this mount?

What are the offsets? Printed and the only thing is the fan being the wrong way round really slows the airflow
But great apart from that

Hi , thx

yes the problem whit the airflow for the layer fan is a thing , but is the only whay it works in this configuration , so far for pla the airflow is enough

the offsets are in the description now

Brilliant thanks, i have no idea what the mesh stuff is about but I'll reconfigure the printer tomorrow with the offsets
Do you just run the part fan at max?

the mesh is great , look at this ( new on marlin 1.1.3) http://marlinfw.org/docs/features/unified_bed_leveling.html

first and second layer 0% , from the third 100%

If you sliced off the fan duct and just used it to hold the blower fan, would the normal A8 fan ducts work with this?

hi , you mean to put something like this ? : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1964724

Ring Nozzle fan duct

Similar. This one specifically. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2121279

"Mistral 2.1" Extruder Cooling Duct for the Anet A8 Printer
by Leo_N

i added a picture with the anet fan , let me know when you see the picture so i can delete the image

the 2.1 will work , but if you use a e3d , the hot end will be far away from the fan

Got it, thanks!
