This is a remote controlled gripper used on a custom radio controlled boat. It is specifically designed to work with model buoys that are also posted in Thingiverse.
The arms are moved by a standard servo motor. A servo drive gear moves the driven arm gear.
The grippers are printed with ABS as a rigid material and Ninja Flex for the gripper portion. It can be printed and used without the flex portion.
4mm s/s nuts and bolts are used to hold things together and as pivot points for the arms and gears.
The bottom of the gear assembly is made in two parts. The "GripAsmBotBot" is customized to bit the bow of the model boat. You'll need to modify this for your particular
