We all know that the A8 acrylic frame is way too flexible. I was inspired by Photoberto's thing (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2351450) which uses M6/M8 rod to add torsional support to the front of the frame. After installing that upgrade I noticed a flex in the frame across where the LCD runs. So I designed these plugs to fit in the A8 cable management holes and to accept an M8 threaded rod. These plugs along with some M8 rod and some large washers give rigidity to the vertical supports, preventing them from flexing inwards. A printable alternative does exist (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2176224), however I prefer the strength of threaded rod and not wasting so much time printing an upgrade that may be weak.
I'm happy to modify for other rod sizes if need be. Feedback also welcome.
Plug is 25mm diameter, 8mm tall with an M8 compatible hole
