I love lzyperfection's Kodama model, but found that it didn't stand well, especially with its oversized head filled with popcorn kernels to create a rattle effect. To fix this, I made a base for this little rascal to stand on.

Included are the original split file (which allows you to add BBs, pebbles or kernels for the rattle) as well as an assembled Kodama if you don't want that feature.

UPDATE: If you are having trouble with the assembled Kodama (see binou80's comment below), try the "kodama-together-4_fixed.stl" which was sent through Netfabb.

No need to use the split version if you want a rattle. Just pause the print when the head is half printed, then add corn or whatever - i used peppercorns - and then resume the print. It worked brilliantly for me - and no seam!

That's a much better solution. I had a hard time lining up the two halves before the superglue dried.

Hello ! Very nice design :) ! But there seems to be an anomaly in the last layers : the top of the head is incomplete ... I post photos of the problem

That clearly looks like a problem. I don't see it in my slicer (Simplify3d) though. I'll upload a Netfabb "fixed" STL for you to try.

I think you solved my problem ;) I will try printing tomorrow but everything is OK in my slicer. Thanks again !!
