wow it's really amazing

Awesome design!

How exactly did you make the hair?
I use TinkerCAD and Meshmixer, and would love to learn how to make the hair.

Many Thanks,

Hi Todd,

To make hairs, you have to get together these features :

  • hairs and space between them will be multiples of your nozzle Ø
  • hairs will be parallel to your plate (to be detected as a bridge by the slicer)
  • you have to design 1st-part, 2nd-hairs and 3rd-a wall (2xØ nozzle tickness). This wall will be removed after printing (also necessary to be detected as a bridge by the slicer)

Don´t forget to activate detecting brigde in your slicer (cura, Slic3r...) before.

Thank you for your reply, but I don’t fully understand how to do this. I do know about ‘detecting bridges’, but still not sure.
Could you post a video on doing this? I will tip you $5 -smiles...
