A very impressive work! when using a micromanipulator, one often need a spatial resolution in um or even nm. is there any design for micropipette puller?

Thanks. I am not aware of a puller design. To be fair, i'd be surprised if the manipulator design can sensibly serve as a starting point for this. I would expect to use a system of pulleys and weights instead. But you make a good point, someone should have a go at this!

Hey, look at the one I made, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:923865/#files it's very compact and can be mounted on Metric or Imperial standard breadboards either with M6 or M3 screws, or with magnets or clamps. I has simple anti-backlash, Check it out and share it in your communities :)
