Thank you so much for sharing your design, helped big-time for this fresh noob in the world of 3DE Printing with my first 3D Printer !

i printed this but was before i properly calibrated my anet a8, this still came out perfect except for the circular holes, i WISH i read the comments first haha, im crap at 3D Designing so would eagerly await a bigger-disc/cylinder-magnet style V2 should you ever make one lol

i am very grateful, keep up the most-excellent work !!

Hey Valadium,
What did you do with the heat sink? Do we need it? Looks awesome though.

I guess the cooling will be even stronger without the heat sink. But there might be a big disadvantage: Dust goes directly to the feeder and might contaminate the filament as it is not blocked by the heat sink. Anybody has experience with this? Maybe mounting a dust-filter might help, I dont't know if there will be still enough air flow though.

No issues here. Also you'll likely want your fan exhausting air and not forcing it into an enclosure. So really shouldn't make a difference regarding dust.

I can't find these magnets anywhere.

Hi there,

These are them... http://www.umagnets.com/p/200pcs-2-5mm-x-1mm-n35-neodymium-disc-magnets-tiny-super-strong-small-cylinder-magnet-zn-plated/

With the eight, they are just strong enough and I have not had any issues. If I were to redesign I would go slightly bigger on the magnets though.
