Do I need to modify the carriage or the printed part or can u tell me what size or what carriage u use so I can implement please and thanks

i printed it, wired up my new titan aero, and things are looking good! a few questions:

  1. how do you deal with strain relief on the top, supporting the wire bundle against movement?
  2. do you know of a way to make the rostock's stock black plastic mounting bracket, to which we mount this thing, stiffer? it flexes a lot, contributing to the ghosting / vibration around corners.

i purchased an aftermarket aluminium bracket

i love this. finally going to switch to a direct extruder, thanks to this thing. any chance of a 2-fan version2?

edit: the posted source has 2-fan version of version 2, to the best of my knowledge.

You wouldn't happen to have the original files for this? I would like to modify it to work with my kossel.

Hi again. with Rhino, nurbs based, not parametric like F360.
STEP extension is the best I can do. Hope it helps.

Will this work for the effector before this one?

I don't think so. To mount this you need to use one of the accelerometer holes which the previous version doesn't have.
Maybe with an adapter?

I guess I will have to find out ordered the aero upgrade kit. I'm running the flying extruder but the weight and motion of extruder bouncing around will throw off the effector if moving too fast.

How much it weight?
Nothing more to add......Beautiful

The entire platform 362g (with one fan, with two I didn't weight it). It could be even less if you use a smaller pancake motor, Filastruder sells them.
That is: Motor + Effector Platform+ Ball Cups + Fixings + Aero + Everything (except for the arms).

My old effector weighted 145g. It's a considerable difference, still absolutely worth it.
No more hysteresys from long bowden tubes!

Had to play a bit with jerk and acceleration, but my retracts are now set to 0.5mm instead of 2.7mm.

yeah, with this piece, i was able to reduce to 1mm retracts from 4.5 or so; probably could go lower, too. so glad to be done with the bowden. now i can print with all the materials! thanks for sharing this thing.
