I love strider086 design for an 3D printed Bearing Block, with those holes for M4 nuts. But it was designed for the IGUS Bearings, and I needed Blocks to fit the standart LM8UU. Thankfully he put the Fusion360 file up :D I downloaded the TestVersion of Fusion360 and redesigned it for LM8UU.
What I changed:
Block length : 30mm
Bearing Hole height : (v4)11mm (v3)11.6mm
Bearing Hole : Ø 15.3mm
Bearing stopper : Ø 11mm
M4 holes: Ø 4mm (because I also want the Screw to grip into the plastic)
- UPDATE v3 --> v4 *
I made a small mistake on the height for the hole (original btw too) v4 is now closer to the SCS8UU standart
Malyan M150 (own E3Dv6 mod)
Depending on your printer tolerances, the hole for the bearing could be too tight ore loose. I made a tight fit, so that the bearing holds better. I used a second bearing as a pusher to press the bearing in. If its too thight ore loose, I included the Fusion360 file, edit in "Skizze4" the bigger ring +/- 0.1mm.
