My goal is to educate and empower the world to grow their own food ... one 3d print at a time! With this modular hydroponic system, you can do just that. Note: You should not use a clear container for hyroponics as you get tons of alegea growth. The clear container in the video was used for explanatory purposes. However, you could use a clear container aquaponics.

Printed on Anet A8 with a 4 brim using Hatchbox white PLA.
The top lid and reservoir require some sort of infill near the bottom of the print to print properly. I only have Cura so I printed those entire pieces at 20%. The module can be printed at 0% infill and be fine.
The only drawback is that each module kind of takes kind of a long time. I printing at 60mm which is about a 12-hour print. I'm thinking of experimenting with 80 mm and having the print time come down to approximately 10 hours. I'll let you know how it goes.
Holes needed post printing
Drill 2 small holes on the outside of the top reservoir in order to loop a zip tie through it and hang it on a rack or stand.
Drill 6 small holes on the inside of the top reservoir to allow for the nutrient solution to drip onto the net pots below.
- Drill several holes on the inside of the cylindrical structure that sits in the middle of the top reservoir. This cylinder helps to prevent overflow in the case of a clog or excessive flow.
