such a good design, its more beefy than the other designs on here i found.. I am using 5x3 props, 2300kv, 2200mah.
love your work! If you feel like designing another frame, a Y6 would be cool.

thanks nechaus, i designed this last year and I've kept on improving and redesigning. check out thug frames.com for some of my latest work :)

Hi what size/type of screws are you using for this build?

Hi Stefan et. al.,

I found the frsky delta 8 at HobbyKing, I also found suitable motors there, but still need details for the rest of the parts. Stefan, here is what I am looking for:

Specific TX model you are using
Specific RX model you are using
Tiger 3100 KV motor (found on HobbyKing and even Amazon)
Specific ESC to use
Source for autopilot and camera

Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated!

hi Stefan...can u please give me the link for this rx : frsky delta 8 ppm receiver

and also please tell me what tx are you using ? and what range are u getting ?

Hi Skyrider, yes give me a few hours and ill try to post a list up of where i sourced all my parts.

Would you consider posting the parts and where you got them in a BOM? For some of us, the OpenPilot CC3D, as cool as it is, appears to have to come from Oz, but for other parts, like the camera, I would appreciate some pointers as to where to go. I can go to HobbyKing for the rest of it (it seems, motors, ESCs and the like are easy to come by from there).

For others, this will fit on my SD3 if I rotate the STL 45 degrees and import into and then export out of TinkerCAD (which seems to clean up a few things). My bed is 8"x8" and rotating it helps keep the head away from the end stops.

all the file print fine through makerware, perhaps try that to do the slicing.if no joy still let me know and ill put up the sketchup files so you can convert accordingly. yes its a short course 1.2ghz go anywhere type of thing. its fun!

Hi stefan ! My son did go ballistic when he saw this one and begged me to print one for him , but my printer solidoodle gen 3 with repetier and slicer cant make something usefull out of it ? tried with the arm and slicer said 4.5 min to print it , and its a pile of nothing after that ? how come , is it protected or something or what am i missing here . it realy looks like a fpv missile for short courses / regards Peter

Just did a test, load the parts in tinkercad, then download the stl from there and it works for SD3..

my frame weighs 180g, yes the motors should fit and my bed is 220 long so no to the 150 bed. thx

This looks great man nicely done. Can this be printed on a 150x150 bed thanks
