Dedicated to Angus on his Makers Muse YouTube channel, my favorite 3D printing channel.
I have not been able to print one yet due to printer trouble. While this rocket is sized to hold a standard size 18x70mm Estes model rocket motor, I DO NOT recommend launching one.
I plan to test one in the future & and I will report the results. For now, IT IS A MODEL ONLY!
I have not been able to print one yet due to printer trouble, but I think it is printable.
The fins are rotated 5 degrees so when I print one to launch it will spin for stability.
The nose has a half-egg shaped hollow payload section to lighten the rocket & lower it's center of gravity.
I designed this on TinkerCad using a standard egg shape stretched on the Z axis with a little of the bottom chopped off, a cone on the nose, wedges for the fins & standard individual letters. The ALIGN tool & repetitive operations hot key commands were very helpful.
