I'm confused. I see STL files, but no scad files.

hi check the original and the scale was out by 10 x

this is my openscad versions

had some issue with some people using LDview - will re do in openscad

it seems that this is a rather large plate. having lego plates of my own I tried to measure this out, and came up with:
240mm X
180mm Y
3mm Z

Thats alot larger than I can print, so if anyone uses those and they work, could you let us know.

Ok, bought a micrometer, and measured actual lego plates this size. I came up with this for dimensions:
255.199 mm = x
191.399 mm = y
3.19 mm = z

I hope this helps, I still have no way of actually printing anything this large.

hi , i don't know why you are getting the dims different

but in netfabb the dim are as follows , i also checked this in openscad and got the same size

x=255.8 // X = 32 studs 8 - .2 tolerance = 255.8 , which is correct
y= 191.2 // Y = 24 studs
8 - .2 tolerance = 191.2 , which is correct
z= 3.35 // Z = 1.75 stud + 1.6 the plate , which is correct

Just opened this on my old laptop with both nettfabb and CINEMA 4D , and got the same dims , so have tested on different software's and different systems

having measured an ACTUAL lego plate matching the amount of studs, and their height. Unless the build plate is a little thicker than a standard lego plate.

This is nice. But it's not scaled realistically, which makes it difficult to use with legos.
