The 3D Maneuver Gear apparatus from the anime Attack on Titan. So far this is just the drum and the middle part that connects the two. I'm planning on making the launchers later.

It's designed to me able to reel the line back in if you were to use this to cosplay. You may need to cut up the model to print it out full scale. Also there is a hole so that you can loop a belt through it, however, I do not know how well the middle part is designed. Please let me know if there are any problems.

I was inspired to make this because of the sword handle by VirgilVox http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:135219 . Hopefully someday I'll be able to make the entire set!~ :DD

could you please email me your inventor files of this i could try and make this more detailed and send you back the files so you can print them out in my own honest opinion this doesnt really seem like a completely design so it shouldnt be to hard to make my email in [email protected] i could work on this with you so you could have a really accurate mg

Any updates on this? would love love love to be able to print one up for cosplay.

Is drum_5 a crank for cosplay purposes?

Yes, although it's not on the actual 3DMG in the anime, I added this in so that you could loop a cord into it and reel it in. This way you have the ability to reel the cord in and out.

Sweet work. Im in the process of creating a fully functional MG. Looking forward to your updates.

That is soooooooooooo cool I will never thing that will be made on 3D model but can you tell me what app youu used? I want to print it

Thanks!~ I used Autodesk Inventor (it's free under the student section: http://autodesk.com/students)autodesk.com/students)

Awesome!! Thats actually the one part I havent made yet!! My friend who I've been making gear for will be excited for this!
I have files for making the sword boxes and cylinders to "spec" on a laser (needs paint and some odds and ends not shown in the pix)

I also have files for the little shooter bits that attach to a piece of flexible metal bar you can get from home depot.
I made a laser file for cutting the piece you modeled out in foam from a stencil pattern I found online. Although haven't assembled.

I'll try to get all those files up (I keep saying that but I can be slow to upload stuff)

Haha cool! Nice team work~

Thank you! I'm still working on the middle piece that attaches to the small of the back. I was thinking about securing it by being able to loop a belt through it. I'm excited haha, hopefully we'll get an entire set up on Thingiverse

Do you have the middle piece to connect the two drum_1 files? Amazing work!
