I tried this mount and it works really well. Shame the same can’t be said for the Turnigy 3542-1250KV motor, which I’m finding has too high a KV rating for this aircraft.
I am wanting to try the SK3 3542-800KV on 4S with a 12x6 prop, which I’m hoping will be a better match.
Only problem is the mounting bolt centres are slightly different dimensions.
Would it be possible for you to modify the mount? The bolt centres are 25mm on both axis, rather than the 25mm x 20mm on the current version.

If you send me a link with a technical drawing of the motor, i would very muck like to create a version for it!

Here is the motor drawing

I've had to reverse the shaft, so the collar is now at the mounting end of the motor, so a recess will be required to provide clearance .
Also hoping you could make a version with the base a little thicker (maybe 2 more layers) for added strength.
Thanks for your help. I will let everyone know how this motor performs

I have added 1 mm to the thickness and uploaded a new stl, but im afraid the design needs deeper changes to fit your motor, which oin the drawing only has 3 holes for fastening, where the hack I have created has 4..

I just had the same experience as you - received the motor, tried to mount it and realised something was screwy. Thanx for this! Have you tried it? What infill/perimeter settings did u use?

4 perimeters and 20% infill

Thanks, but I found this too late, already designed something similar.

Dude... I love you! your my hero
