Hello Hugo. I just finished the enclosure system yesterday, and now printing your big legs to raise the printer up for the control box.
I think I will use coroplast (corrugated plastic) for the panels and pexi for the door. Just have to wait until the legs are installed so I can measure for height. Like the magnet idea.
Just have a couple of months under my belt, still learning but loving the process. Mike in Canada.

hi Mike,
Am so glad you are undertaking this project.
Its great to just have a go then you can assess what you have done and how you could have done it different/perhaps better.
thats how you become a designer.
Find a problem and try to solve it with whats around you and with your skill set.
dont forget to post photos when finished

How does this open or do you have to take it completely off?
I think you might be able to change out one of the panels for plexiglass so you can see the work.
Also maybe put swivels and a latch on the front panel?

Minimal is the key here!
I was thinking of flying some metal plates to the front facing pieces then the plexiglass will have magnets (rare earth magnets) which are very strong and can hold the lid in place, that way no ugly hinges or anything

That's a great idea with the magnets. I might try to modify this to do that.

hi, can you give (i'm french sorry for my english) the dimension all wood plate? thank

Ill probably make one of these today. Ill begin printing the pieces as soon as my current print finishes. Im hoping Ill be able to find wood or PVC tubing that fits the specified holes. Then if Im able to find the correct size of fiberglass Ill use those to attach to the side walls.

This is awesome. Looking forward to when you complete it, as I will be making it for my CR 10 also (will be my first printer) I was wondering if this will work with the CR 10 Frame Braces by Rebelrousingprops, or do you feel those braces are even necessary?

Hi there, my two CR-10's are totally stock except for the cr-10 feet i made to cushion the noise.
Oh I also mounted the filament holder on top of the machine, thats it.
A lot of people say a lot of things need updating.
Personally i am very happy with it as it is no need to tinker with it just print.
