I just took measurements of my engraver to make my own PCB Holders. I just happened to check Thingiverse before I did...Thanks for sharing.

Good idea, but I'd advise some form of vertical holding as well in case Murphy's Law strikes as it inevitable does ;-)

Hi mmorao,
thanks for your message. The holder have a bevel/slope on the one side that touches the PCB from the side. So, the PCB can't be moved in any direction, also not vertically.
I will add some more pictures/sketches later that will clarify what I mean.
Regards
Pyro

All right, I see that should do the trick. This is trauma speaking, a 1500W spindle with a 6mm cutter grabbing a thick slab of perspex and shooting it across the room suddenly makes anyone a faithful of the Thick And Rigid Holders Church :-))

I suppose your PCB plates and engraving cutters will not raise the same issues :-) But your design does look nice, practical and well though out!

Cheers!

Oh, this sounds very professional, in this case of course, no one should use this holder made from PLA/ABS :-)

My machine is only a small one, good enough (and powerful enough only) for milling/drilling PCBs. I assume also all the guys and girls who buy and run a 3D-Printer and/or CNC hopefully know what they are doing :-) but maybe I will leave a note in the description...

Cheers!
