hello friend can you upload the stp files off this project? im mading this but 3 times bigger, 200mmx 200mm but my printer stuck in half of the bottom part so i need to cut the part and star printing again, but for this i need the stp, can you upload it ? huge thanks

I don't have any STP files or the original source file. This is a derivative design. You can try contacting the original creator for help.

Hello Friend did you print this without support in he middle? i want to do it 3 times bigger probably will need support in the middle :(

I did not print with supports in the middle. Skeinforge was able to bridge the top of the dome nicely. You may need to check with your slicer software that it has that ability. Thanks!

How does this one's power compare to the power of the force?

cool design.
Are you able to provide the original cad files for a remix?

Thanks. I'm not the original creator, I just edited the STLs. Follow up the remix ladder to the original creator.

like the way this one came out. I was thinking an under construction death star 2 would be a pretty cool print. Just throwing it out there...

You can find the link in the description to the thingiverse post.

How did you achieve the glossy finish? Only laquer or ABS acetone smoothing + something?

Acetone vapor bath

Awesome model, was wondering if you had the source/non hollowed out version. I wanted to make death star ice cube molds. OpenSCAD isn't really happy with these STL files.

Sorry, I don't have the source. This was a remix of another design. Created by doing some vertex editing of the original model.

Can i destroy a planet with these?

yes, yes you can.

What is the "mid section" model for?

It the ring at the center of the model. I didn't want to have to worry about overhangs or supports.

Grrr, I printed the stand named "DeathStar...", but it is too large! The correct stand is the small one; would be nice to mention it...

Sorry! I forgot to mention that. Thanks for the heads up!!!

No problem. I'll post soon a picture of my print/paint...

nice glad you posted this! Saw your print on Instagram earlier today.
