104 bearings?! Hmmmmm

I got 100 on ebay for less than $30

you need commitment, dedication, and ball bearings, a lot of ball bearings!

And specifically what size spacers? The YA-0390BK come in different sizes. As I am using an SLA printer, should I just print these? I can print a couple dozen simultaneously...

yes, print those if you can. I couldn't at the time. Try to use a hard plastic like ABS or ASA. use 1 or 2 mm

Looks very cool, I've already printed some of the gears and the feets. Could you provide a photo of one assembled "leg"? This would make it easier to see how many copies of each party you have to print. And: Did you really meant you used 112 bearings?? Or is this a typo and you meant 12?

I have uploaded more pictures and a 3D model and provided more details if you are interested.

I'm sorry I moved to a different continent and my robot stayed behind, so I can't take any new picture. I'm adding on the main page a screen capture that I printed and helped me during assembly. Every 7mm hole has a bearing in it, and a bunch of spacers to keep them axially in the right position.

The number 112 is what I've come up by re-counting after the fact, but I might have had my count wrong, basically I had bough 90 and it was not enough and I had to buy a bunch more. Since they are not modeled, the CAD software doesn't keep track of them.

Thanks for putting this up. I'm excited to print and play with it!
