This experiment was to determine how well a round-light shaft might reflect light into an adjacent solid (the eyes.) --Worked better than expected!
Because some liked the final design (a tad too much, in my opinion,) note that the "Cool Moai" can be printed either stand-alone (as a colorized / paintable solid,) or as a transparency, for belighted use. =)
When printed as a transparency, the used of a wired LED is implied. When wiring, note that one can either use a CR2032 stand alone, or as part of a series.
When wiring a few of them together, your DC power series / external LED power source can be supported via the hole at the back of the design. Feel free to wire lots of 'em together, and automate their 'blinkage, as desired.
If you are wondering how far the wire / LED might travel up the figurine, the comment has a link to a video that displays the internals via a wire-frame.
