Summary

With the success of our 808 Key-chain version (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2473234) we decided to move up with an under hung GoPro style mount and what do you know it worked! So we went BIG and flew a 360 deg camera weighing in at a mighty 100 grams! Now your battery life will drop like a brick carrying such a load so again be-careful!

Note: fly this is at you risk and remember safety first as I have flown this and it works however no promises. Also don't fly over people or property with this...

Again you can get the camera here (http://video-drone.diy3dtech.com/4k-360panoramic-hd-1440p-ov4689-4mp-sensor-camara-wifi-uav-camera-dvr/) and it attaches to this landing gear (http://amzn.to/2woMHi4). Also these are the white cable ties (http://amzn.to/2wCwjK8) and blacks ones to match (http://amzn.to/2fobEWM). Note the insides of the mounts are tapered to match the legs so make sure to orientate it correctly In addition, if you make one of these please post a make here to help support my designs!

Printer:

Just About Any

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.2 (you want more layers)

Infill:

40%

Notes:

While possible to print without supports, I recommend printing with and cleaning them afterwards as you will get a better print. Also suggest using 0.2 layer height to achieve more layers as well as 40% for a greater cross hatch pattern to hold the weight better.

Does putting it so far back throw it off? I realize you did that to avoid the bottom facing sensors. I'd love to try this with my Samsung gear 360. Altho it would be kinda stupid to risk a drone that can shoot 360 photos for a very short lower quality 360 video.

No, "but" keep in mind the loading will will be placed on the back motors and not divided evenly between the 4 so this reduces the weight it can carry. Also be sure to check out my drone YT channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdSpKpUH0vZcta5T480330w where you can see video from this camera...

Stl for those landing gears would be nice.
(you are using commercial ones?)
