This tile set has been superseded by the much improved OpenForge 2.0 Tudor set. That set is both more complete, and vastly better designed, please, check it out.

Wood tiles designed to be compatible with Dwarven Forge dungeon tiles.

OpenForge is now a patron supported project. I use the resources that my patrons give me in order to get the resources to let me create more sophisticated tiles with a greater level of detail. Please, support me, and I’ll deliver an ongoing stream of awesome gaming terrain. You can find more about OpenForge and Masterwork Tools at our website, at our forums, or on twitter and facebook.

Printed in black. Dry brushed with dark brown and then used ever lighter shades in the dry brush. To lighten, used a light leather, not a white in order to get more yellow in the highlights.
Due to the surface texture, the wood tiles seem to take a long time to slice. I'm working on figuring out how to keep a good texture while simplifying that.

What's the trick to getting such a good wood texture, every one I print looks like I took an iron to it and flattened the top grain. Is there a way to widen the gap between the boards?

This was exactly what I was looking for! Thanks so much! I used this as wood planking on the top of model scaffolding.

Printed one after cutting off the top ~0.83mm of the model using a Replicator 2 and it kept the woodish look while saving something like an estimated 15 minutes of build time based on the makerware preview function.

Can you post the result in a picture as a make?
