Not what I really consider a remix since I just modded a few things

  1. Added 2mm height to the studs the bearings go on so there is more material holding the bearings when the studs are melted and squished.
  2. Added a 0.18mm high (1 layer) flat area to the end of the screw to act as a brim so everything can be printed together easily. Naturally it has to be trimmed off after printing to assemble the screw and knob.
  3. Flipped the "slider" 180 degrees so it's oriented to go on the build plate by default.

The knob was not modified at all.

Be sure you put the screw in the "base" before gluing the knob on it.

I would like to know the diameters of the bearings. 5/16/5 ?

ID 8mm = 0.3149597" or approx. 5/6" a 5/16" wooden dowel fits nicely inside them.
OD 22mm = 0.8661391" or just under 7/8"
thickness 7mm = 0.2755897" or a little over 1/4"

What's the diameter of the taps for the bearings ?

The studs are 7.9mm in diameter and the ID of the bearings is 8mm so they slide on easily. I did not change the diameter of the studs I just added 2mm to their height.

Just liked to check so that the bearings I have home would fit :)

The 608 bearings are pretty common and can be had pretty cheap. They are used in skateboards and roller skates I believe. You can always mod the files on tinkercad.com to change the stud sizes to fit whatever bearings you have.

It's the one's I have home.
