This Thingi is a Chain-Guide for Bicycles. The Design is based on the c.guide from bionicon.
I just mounted it a few days ago, so i can't say anything about the durability until now (especial the wear from the chain).
After a few weeks of usage, i will post an update here.
Uploaded some new Pictures (after ~400km). There are some visible grooves but i think this is ok.
Uploaded .stl and .step. The Flex-Part is now a bit thicker.
Flexible Part (TPU):
- 2 Perimeters
- ~5% trigonometric Infill
- 5 Bottom/Top Layers
- no Support
Stiff part (PETG):
- 4 Perimeters
- 75% Infill
- 5 bottom/top Layers
- maybe POM / Nylon will be the better choice in terms of wear and tear, caused of the chain
Ziptie the flexible part to the chain-stay, bend the stiff part around the chain and connect the two parts with a M3x20 screw. To avoid a breakage of the stiff part while bending, slightly heat it up.
