This is a wheel kit to allow the CupCake MakerBot to build a wheel larger than the standard 100mm x 100mm MakerBot platform allows.

As you can see in the more assembled image that it is easy to make paper/card wheel hubs with different "faces" on them to alter the look of the wheels ... Christmas, Halloween etc... but the faces can also be cut into thirds/fourths to MakerBot them as part of the wheel building too.

This is another of many entries to the makezine.com/go/makerbot contest ...

I really need a job ... but I can design a custom part if you like on contract.

MakerBot each piece, then lightly sand mating surfaces to fit them together snugly. You may want to glue the wheel parts together for added strength, but that's probably not necessary.

If you successfully make these with a 3D printer please send me the build-files and machine type so it can be uploaded here for others to use.

the inside hub of the outer hub rim part 1 needs a provision for the rest of the hub to fit...or flatten the two inner hubs numbers 2 & 3 to accommodate to fit part 1

Now sure what you mean? Sure this design is a little premature and can be made better ... maybe I'll post a new version on PinShape.com

I didn't print this myself to look for any problems, but the view in the 3D CAD modeling software looks good.

I NEED VOTEs in the NASA TechBriefs contest!

Ok i had to cut the point off of the 2 inner triangle hubs for the 3rd outer hub to fit over them ...i hope that explains it
