this is very unreliable cause of the looseness of the nut but it still works! thanks a lot you saved my life :D I had to print this without homing and by manually moving the motor.

also it worked for me without the brass insert.

I don't understand how are mounted the brass insert and the bolt, have you some picures of inside the flag case ?

Just got this printed and installed and am already loving it. My old mechanical end stop literally died on the start of the flag print but luckily it was the last piece of this I needed and I managed to get it printed. Perfect timing!

In case anyone is wondering, you tap the flag with an M3 tap, insert the barrel nut ( brass knurl nut ) into the larger hole on the housing allowing it to spin freely. The M3 screw goes through the threads on the flag and into the barrel nut. Both the screw and the barrel nut should spin freely causing the flag to go up and down.

I just used a hex nut and a slightly longer screw to secure my brass nut. Also I didn't use a tap instead I just used a m3 screw cautious to cut the thread into the flag.

I would only add that you might want to use a drop of lock-tite to ensure the brass insert does not tighten things up and spins freely.
