I needed a way to measure the diameter of the filament that was coming out of OmNom my pellet extruder/recycler so I sat myself down in front of SolidWorks and this is what was squirting out one of my printers a few hours later. Man! I love this technology! To be able to go from a little more than a puff of smoke in the back of my head to in my hand all in a couple of hours!
Apologies in advance to all the metric boys and girls out there but this was designed using imperial fasteners so you will need to source the metric equivalent. Also, being that this tool was intended to be assembled and just get used likely not touching the fasteners again I didn't bother too much with captured nuts.
