Just thinking... wouldn't it make sense to have the base of the Raspery Pi mount only 58mm wide so that the modules can be inserted (and removed) from the front without taking the whole enclosure out of the rack.

Very nice design! What is the needed build volume for printing the large center part? Do you also have a cover plate to cover unused slots?

The main part is 285 mm wide x 103 mm deep x and 44 mm high. I am working on a cover plate for unused slots.

285 mm is too wide for my Ultimaker 2 even if I try to print it diagonal :-(

You could cut it in gcode generator to what fits your build plate and then glue together. If in ABS that works pretty well and is strong.

I have split the large middle part into three identical parts that can be screwed together in the same way as the outside parts. I plan to upload that as a remix once I have printed it successfully.

No successful print in over a year?

a three piece middle part would be awesome. I use a Dremel 3d20 and the splitted parts would fit perfectly. Any news?

Nice. Please do.
