This is my folding knife design for disposable Stanley style blades.
Its a hybrid between a friction folder and a flipper.
Designed for the UK so no lock, but is very stable in the open or closed position.
100% printable, the bolt best at 0.12mm layer height and all other parts at 0.2mm layer height.
Its been designed to print so easily, no support, no rafts, no brims. Very lightweight but also rugged design.
Update 11/09/2017 v21 New bolt with larger tolerance so its not so tight.
Update 09/09/2017 v20 New inner and outer updated for a more secure blade.
Update 09/09/2017 - All new design v19 incorporates a better fit blade cutout, new construction to allow top case to be printed flat with logo up so nicer logo printing, more stable connection through the knife.
Update 08/09/2017 - added an additional lower case file for loose fit as not all blades are exactly the same size.
Update 07/09/2017 - new stl file for lower inner v18 to take up slack when open, also updated Print Layout to include v18 lower inner.

Note the bolt is best printed at 0.12mm layer height.
The screw and screw hole can be tight at first,
just screw in a few times, tighter each time to clear the threads.
The tolerances are very tight so take care on cleanup and sanding.
square all edges and inner holes for piviot, any elephants foot from first layer should be removed.
You can lubricate the pivot with oil if you want.
