Came out great and looked great. Parts fit well together, but unfortunately the blade pops out too easily. With the slightest pressure, the two sides of the blade housing separate and the blade pops out the back. I think it needs a small screw behind the blade to lock it together. With this tweak it'd be near perfect!

Hi ya i printed the knife and find it brilliant for work thanks i have tipped you for your brilliant design i will update here with a photo soon

Could you make this with a lock for non-UK consumers

Hopefully someone remixes this to add a lock for the US consumers :-)

It is tough to get to fit -- I recommend checking out the remix at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2570535.

Screw is finicky for sure. The problem I am having is teh back of the handle that has the notch and bar for pinning it together the outer handle is not sufficient to keep the whole thing together. Also, the inner upper and power blade holders need a snap so that they stay toegther, any force you apply - like cutting through plastic strapping around a box can cause the blade to fly out.

Hmm i am not having any of these issues and i have printed about 20 now. It might be the tollerence in the printer.
There were some updates in the files so make sure you are using the latest ones. Version 21

The screw is a hard one. I tried with supports but it fused together because it was too small.

I just print it at 0.1 layer height no supports no raft no brim and seems not a problem.

i did the same and also slowed it down by 50%
