NOTE: Files are at 1:10 size ratio! When slicing the files, you must scale the pieces up by 1000% to be sized correctly (at least with the way my slicer is configured). You will be able to tell easily whether it is scaled correctly or not.
My design of a Star Trek Voyager Medical Hypospray replica. Makes for a good beginner prop. Cartridge for the hypospray is not included. I used a glass cigar tube.
Slicer: Slic3r Prusa Edition
Filament: 1.75mm Black PLA Hatchbox
Can be printed in one day. Some pieces may require brims or supports.
Priming, Sanding, and Painting
In total, this project would take a beginner about 10-12 hours post print to complete. I used filler primer and sandpaper in increments of 320, 1000, and 2000 to remove the print lines. Then I painted it with a combination of spray paints and acrylic paints. The cartridge is a glass cigar tube with green, all-purpose cleaner.
All of the files used were designed by me on Autodesk Inventor 2017. I used reference pictures with dimensions to aid me.
