Still a work in progress (beta_v4)
Purpose: Students are going to be using these with broken arrow shafts to create "One Cubic Foot" cubes to study a variety of environments. Inspired by the book and National Geographic's coverage of David Liittschwager's work: here: http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2010/02/cubic-foot/liittschwager-photography#/video/
Ross School Innovation Lab:
The Book:

Recommended print settings for a MakerBot 2X using ABS are for 5% fill, 2 Shells, 0.2 Layer.
I have have had a couple break at the 5% fill and have made some at 50% for sturdier corners, but somewhere in between is probably optimal.
FYI: The helper disk that is included in the model is 0.2mm thick to help with plate adhesion.
