This design uses the factory Tronxy X3 heated bed (240 X 240) with a bolt pattern of 211 x 208 but I would think it would work for any 240 X 240 heated bed with a 2020 frame. Some pics are of the older version I'll update them later
Well I decided to update my Tronxy X3 to linear rails and us SC8UU which required me to keep using the acrylic piece that the heated bed to. I don't like acrylic on my printer as it's known to warp. So I designed this up to be used... You will need to remove the factory 2020 rail. I have now included all the parts to install the linear rails. the only parts you will need is the 8mm rails and 4 SC8UU bearings... Then the factory belt pulley will move over to this setup you will need a m5 bolt and nut... Then this setup uses 15 T nuts and bolts. Factory motor bolts might work (I don't know for sure as I haven't used factory mounts in a while) then the factor limit switch and it's screws and nuts will also work.
Then use the motor mount including in the files and I'm pretty sure the motor mount slide will be needed to help the belt run smoothly over the top of the rail. it should take an M2 bolt to hold the slide in place or it could be glued. Motor mount might be better off printed with supports.
This does include a place for the end stop switch to hit if you use the Y motor mount I linked to above.
Print 2 of each of the fallowing part, front and rear rail mount, bed mount side 1, bed mount side 2.
Only need one of each of the rest of the parts... Belt tensioner setup is a kind of tricky print so I would print it with supports and print it slow.
This is for (2) 8mm rails and (4) SC8UU bearings.
Uses * m2 bolts to hold it together But I would glue it then use the bolts to hold it in place until the glue dries
UPDATE: 9/22/17 printed this out and noticed flex in the top plate piece so I made it thicker and added a brace across the thin spot that was flexing..
UPDATE: 9/23/17 designed and added my own version of a motor mount with limit switch mount... also designed the belt tensioner for this setup as well.
UPDATE: 9/25/17 the Y belt tension setup is not working fully so working on a little redesign. REDESIGN complete and uploaded printing now
UPDATE: 9/26/17 decided to go ahead and make a full 3d model of the tronxy x3 and the parts I used and noticed that I will more than likely need longer thumb screws so I designed some up and uploaded them here as well I would recommend printing 4 so one for each corner.
Update: 9/28/17 finally went to install these parts only to find I didn't need the slide on the Y motor mount and a few other minor changes needed for it and I also found out that the hot bed mount holes where off so fixed them... still working on the Y motor mount.OK files are updated also added some new Z axis motor mounts that will sit the Z motors a little lower and no extra hanging in near the rail. Then I added a second extruder motor mount that I designed for me...
UPDATE: 9/29/17 removed the second extrure motor mount from this file to keep file size down will upload it to it's own page, doing the same for the Z motor mounts as i don't see them required for this setup but will allow for extra movement when using all my designed parts( not 100% sure they will even be required then).
