This is a copy of the "jin stirrup"

I came up to this idea because i have a lot of horse riding people around me.
All the equipment is very expensive, so i thought "what if i print it?'.
I didn't find any other designs, so i made my own.

This is a first test, it holds my weight (70kg).
Didn't tested it on a real horse yet.. Will keep u up to date!

I printed the foot step thing straight. And added support. If you print it upside down, you grip won't be as good i think.

-2x 4mm screw

looks brilliant! exactly what i was looking for. going to test it out today! nice work!

Thanks! it tested one stirrup with 70kg, and is held.. you can "use" it as test, but in pla i wouldn't use it as daily stirrup :p I will use this design with metal casting!

From my experience with riding horses, I really doubt that stirrup will last long, especially while mounting a horse, you need to put your full weight on it, the plastic is not strong enough, especially the place where you attach the stirrup belt.
For kids that might work, but for bigger horses not at all.

yeah i know, therefor i say it's a test fase.
I tested it and it holds my weight + some extra.
i am going to test the total durability with a scale...
Later i will combine it with metal casting to create aluminium ones
