What did you use for a replacement knob? After mounting the board in the case the original knob won't go on far enough to be depressed anymore. I could just put something inside the knob to backfill the hole but was thinking a slightly larger one like you have in your photos would be an improvement as well.

I can't be sure but I know it is from Thingiverse but I can't find it.

After printing this, I found that my display (stock 3DP-17) won't fit. The LCD circuit board (green) is ~1mm lower. I'm going to see if I can grind out a small channel with my Dremel to see if that will work. I may have to do a remix, though. Will update once I get it assembled.

Nice case though. I was looking for something like this.

I should have mentioned that this may be the case. I have found that the standard HICTOP Display is larger than the standard RepRap discount display. This did not matter when using the HICTOP mount since it was built with a lot of tolerance.
Since the display case has some severe restrictions on height and width (due to the clearance of the bed) and I wanted the case to be friction fit, I had to select dimensions that would be very close. I made the decision to base the case on the standard RepRap Discount Display since it was slightly smaller than the HICTOP one.
Feel free to do a remix, just watch for the clearance on Height and width.
Oh, for me I simply swapped the HICTOP display for a RepRap display I had in a case with more room to use for Arduino projects or other controller experiments.

I fixed it in Blender. Added a sloped notch. It now works great.

I'll post a remix after I clean up the notch a little (currently leaves a slim hole in one side - still learning Blender).

Update: Posted remix.
