This is a common hook with an uncommon look. The Duck Billed Platyhook might remind you of a certain creature from Tasmania/Australia. It can be used to hang all manner of things. File includes beveled holes for attachment screws.


Download it. Slice it. Print it.
My results were great with the following settings:
No Raft
No Support
20% infill (good part strength)
.20 layer height
2 shells
Feed 40

Use the holes in the part to mark your screw locations, and fasten with your preferred attachment method. (I used self tapping wood screws, no pre-drilling necessary)

Just what I needed to keep a dog fence door gently latched.

hello. i've remixed this hook a bit, but i've noticed your license is no-derivative .

my remix includes reducing overhangs at few critical points so it's easier to print, plus
i've created modifier .stl file for slic3r allowing creating infill and more perimeters in critical parts of the hook - this allows slicing with
settings like 2 perimeters 0.7 wide, and 0% infill . modifier gets 3 perimeters and 15% infill.
this allows very lightweight and plastic-savvy part while still looking good and strong.
