For someone putting up a low cost repeater, the cost of a USB Radio Interface for any type can be steep. That's one reason I was thrilled when I found W3KKC's RA-35 -- only problem was, it didn't come with a case. Well, that can be fixed =]

Here are some things to know about this case:

  • No hardware required -- put the RA-35 in and snap the lid shut
  • There are holes in the lid placed above each of the three LEDs
  • No supports are required

I hope you find it useful =]

Make sure you turn the lid upside down so the flat (top) side is down else it won't likely work real well =]

This works for an RA-40 as well

Good to know! I believe they have the same form factor, so I would expect that it would.

I have a stacking version of this as well that I can clean up and post if anyone is interested... allows you to put two of them in the same case. Prints a fair bit differently, but seems to work well. I just need to finish up a couple of things.

I updated the openScad file, Adjusted the LED spots for the RA-40.

Added Changes notes and original creator

I am sure people would be interested in it, I will be in the near future when i get some 900 mobiles to play with.
