Very nice; this was the first thing I was planning to have a go at creating, but you beat me to the punch by a country mile.

Really love the curved extremities on the cross (they probably have a fancy name I don't know), brings a simple elegance to it that looks fantastic and matches the theme so well. :)

Thank you very much for the kind words. I'm still mostly just fumbling through teaching myself basic 3D modeling, so the encouragement is much appreciated!

We're all new once. :)

What program(s) are you using? There are a lot of helpful resources and groups you can join here that can give some useful insight.

PS: I'm going to have one of these printed later this week, so I'll be posting a make in the next few days.

I just use the free OnShape website. It has a decent tutorial to get started, then I just did a lot of trial and error from there.
I have a strong background in CAD and mechanical drawing, so that helps, but I didn't want to invest in expensive software if it didn't look like I'd grasp it.

There are quite a lot of good free software packages out there (Skethup, Blender, 123Design); but if you're making work like this with OnShape and are comfortable doing it, then don't fix what isn't broken.
