I really took several weeks to find this thing!
Had looked for Extruder knob, scrolled through all knobs there were, searched for stepper motor knob, never thought of calling it a flag, as this actually is an Anemometer (tool used to measure wind) flag.

I would sugest that it would be a good idea if you add the keywords knob, ender3 (as they are the same) and anemometer :)
will post a make later if I dont forget

Is not an anemometer, and is not a knob... if you search simply by “extruder” you can find it.
Enjoy

amazing fit thank you!

I've broken a few of these printed in PLA so the last one I replaced with a TPU version. seems to be working well.

Thanks for this - depending on your printer tolerances as mentioned - I found I had to drill mine out to a 5.5mm hole and then wrap the shaft in some tape to make up the difference to get a tight fit - looks good!

Hey Cornely_Cool, I love your little flag. What version Solidworks are you running? i was going to poke around the file, but I'm unable to open it in 2016.

I'm using 2017 version.

What is the file name for the filament guide in the picture? I printed the flag but want the guide too lol. Thanks.

Broke mine trying to push it onto the post. I couldn't seem to get it lined up right or something.

The post has a D shape with 1 flat edge, just line it up and it pops right on.

Mine fit directly without problems.

Check the effective diameter of the slot on the flag, maybe is printing tolerance matter!
The bore diameter in the drawing is 5.1 mm that should be ok.

Thanks, it's definitely settings on my end for sure. I haven't quite gotten the hang of this thing yet! =D
