Hi there.
I'm searching for new stiff carriage for my K250 and I found your very good design. After few years of used. Could you please give your feedback ? Thank you.

It's still working as it should :)
Adjusting the concentric nuts will wear them down if you are not careful. Remember to print these solid in a hard material. The proces of adjusting the nuts is also a lot easier on the 3 wheel version, naturally.
I'm using polycarbonate wheels (the white ones) They wear down faster than the delrin type, and I do not see a difference in printing quality.
The quality (roundness) of the ball-ends should be very high for this angle.
You can find some good ones on Haydn Huntleys own shop. He's the original designer of the magball system i believe:

Thanks for asking :)

I'm currently printing the 3 wheels in ABS. The magball are the Ultibots K250 genuine. I hope they are round enough.
I'll keep you inform about the result ;) Thanks

Great mod! I would consider using wedges for the belts. They are easier to assemble and more durable IMO. I like the high balls and the bottom mount tensioner. Definitely considerations for our next version of carriages!

Thanks, Brad. Wedges for the belts is a good idea! Next time I'm working on this design I'll se if I can put some in there.
