I like your system, and I'd like to make the same for my hotend Prusa. Two questions:

  1. can you explain the needed changes on Marlin (or MarlinKimbra) firmware, in order to enable the servo movement please?
  2. Can you post a link for the RC servo model?

For marlin, you have to modify in configuration.h

  • Z Servo Probe, such as an endstop switch on a rotating arm.
  • /

    define Z_ENDSTOP_SERVO_NR 0 // Defaults to SERVO 0 connector.

    define Z_SERVO_ANGLES {140,90} // Z Servo Deploy and Stow angles

// Use double touch for probing


Could you make a version of this that doesn't use a servo, but is manually deployed?
